In celebration of the 40th anniversary of Title IX, the Southeastern Conference created SEC 40/40, an online initiative celebrating women’s athletics in the Southeastern Conference. Over the last few days, both Marie Robbins, a member of the Crimson Tide’s first NCAA Championship team and current Associate Athletics Director and Senior Woman Administrator, and Sarah Patterson, the Tide’s legendary gymnastics coach, have been featured as part of the SEC’s celebration.
