The Medalist Club is the official booster organization for the Alabama Crimson Tide Women's Gymnastics Program, and, as such, works very hard to provide additional, yet appropriate levels of support to the team that are not provided for in the annual athletic operating budget for the University of Alabama. By becoming a corporate sponsor of The Medalist Club, your company will help us operate at a more highly effective and supportive level, and will help keep Alabama Crimson Tide Gymnastics among the Nation's elite programs.

Here are just a few of the areas of support that The Medalist Club currently provides to the Alabama Crimson Tide Women's Gymnastics Program:

  1. Fans get the opportunity to meet and socialize with the gymnasts and coaches during poster signings and Medalist Club-sponsored post-meet receptions.
  2. The Medalist Club provides the Alabama Crimson Tide Gymnastics program with educational equipment (computers) and athletic equipment, like the recently acquired GameReady device, which helps the athletes train and rehabilitate in the shortest yet healthiest manner feasible so they can return to the competition floor as soon as possible.
  3. The Medalist Club provides post-graduate scholarships to worthy candidates previously affiliated with the Alabama Crimson Tide Women’s Gymnastics Program who wish to continue their post-graduate education at the University of Alabama.
  4. During the competition year, The Medalist Club honors an alumnus of the Alabama Crimson Tide Women’s Gymnastics program for her outstanding contributions after graduation. In 2008, the award was bestowed on 1993 graduate, Dana Dobransky-Duckworth, a former SEC and NCAA National Champion.
  5. The Medalist Club funds a nationally known web site, www.gymtide.com. This site keeps Alabama Gymnastics fans involved and informed in the team's activities and competitions. All gymnastics meets - home and away - are carried on LIVE WEB RADIO, accessible from www.gymtide.com. The web site is also a valuable recruiting tool, as it is viewed by athletes and others from all over the country, allowing them a window into the world of the Alabama Gymnastics family
  6. At the end of the competition year, The Medalist Club hosts the annual Awards Banquet for the Crimson Tide Women’s Gymnastics team and club members, at which time the gymnasts are presented with academic and athletic awards earned during the previous competition year.
