Q) How did you spend your summer vacation?
A) "I went home, spent time with family and friends, trained at my old gym, worked in the Pro Shop there, and took a vacation to South Padre Island. Then, I came back, took some summer classes, and trained here in Tuscaloosa."
Q) Now that fall practice has begun, what new skills are you working on?
A) "On bars, I'm working on a heli to a counter. On floor, I'm working a round off 1 ½ to a round off double full."
Q) What one thing about you will surprise the Tide fans during the upcoming competition year?
A) "I could compete bars."
Q) Describe some of your team mates and how you think they will contribute to the 2000 team.
A) "Everyone is working hard and doing a great job in practice. I think that everyone will be very important in their own way."
Q) Who do you think will wow the fans? Who is the "sleeper" on this team?
A) "Freshman Kristin Sterner will be a great addition on every event."
Q) In your opinion, what will it take for this team to win the national championship?
A) "Staying focused and concentrating on every little detail of our routines."
Q) Who are the leaders on this team?
A) "Lissy, Robin, Gina."
Q) In your opinion, which apparatus will have the greatest number of gymnasts competing for a spot in the line up?
A) "Balance beam."
Q) What is your favorite aspect about college gymnastics?
A) "The teamwork."
Q) How is your overall health? Did you have any surgery/rehab in the off season?
A) "I had knee surgery after last season. I had rehab over the summer and I'm doing great now."
Q) If you had to come up with a theme for this year's team, what would it be?
A) "This is how we do it!"
