Q) How did you spend your summer vacation?
A) "I took classes during second summer semester. While I was here, I worked out and helped coach the camps (gymnastics). The rest of the summer I spent at home with my family, working out and coaching at my old gym (Illinois Gymnastics Institute)."

Q) Now that fall practice has begun, what new skills are you working on?
A) "On vault I learned a layout Tsukahara full. On bars I've got a pike jaeger and a double layout/full out dismount. I've got a new beam routine. On floor I am working on a new first pass: a round off to whip to double tuck."

Q) Who do you think will wow the fans? Who do you think is the "sleeper" on this team?
A) "I think everyone will wow the fans. This team has really come a long way, even just in the past few months."

Q) Who are the leaders on this team?
A) "Everyone plays a leadership role on this team."

Q) In your opinion, which apparatus will have the greatest number of Tide gymnasts competing for a spot in the line up?
A) "Bars and beam."

Q) What is your favorite aspect about college gymnastics?
A) "The FANS!!"

Q) What is your opinion of the possibility of the SEC Championship being held at a neutral site, instead of being held on a rotational basis at each campus?
A) "I don't think that site plays a big part, at least in this conference. The SEC is so strong and the fans are so great that the competition is awesome no matter where it is held."

Q) How is your overall health? Did you have any surgery/rehab in the off season?
A) "My overall health is fantastic."

Q) If you had to come up with a theme for this year's team, what would it be?
A) "Diamonds in the rough."
