Q) How did you spend your summer vacation?
A) "I went home for five weeks and worked at my old gym (SIGS). I also trained with my old team mates four days a week (at SIGS). I also took summer classes here the second half of vacation."
Q) Now that fall practice has begun, what new skills are you working on?
A) "I am training a new middle pass on floor, a round off - whip ½ - front layout. It still needs some work but I hope to add it once season starts."
Q) Describe some of your team mates and how you think they will contribute to the 2000 team.
A) "I think that everyone contributes to the team. We need everyone to be able to accomplish our goals for the season!"
Q) Who do you think will wow the fans? Who is the "sleeper" on this team?
A) "I think that, just like last year, Andree will light up the arena. I think Kristin Sterner will make a huge impact."
Q) In your opinion, what will it take for this team to win the national championship?
A) "Consistency. There are several very good teams this year as in the past. I think the Championship will go to whoever hits the most routines the night of Super Six!"
Q) Who are the leaders on this team?
A) "Lissy, Gina."
Q) In your opinion, which apparatus will have the greatest number of Tide gymnasts competing for a spot in the line up?
A) "Bars, beam."
Q) What is your favorite aspect about college gymnastics?
A) "The atmosphere in our Coliseum at home meets and our fans are incredible."
Q) What is your opinion of the possibility of the SEC Championship being held at a neutral site, instead of being held on a rotational basis at each campus?
A) "I like the rotation system because it keeps things fair and it allows each team's fans a chance to have the meet close to home."
Q) How is your overall health? Did you have any surgery/rehab in the off season?
A) "I am healthy and ready to compete! I was lucky enough this past year to be injury free so I didn't have any rehab this summer."
