Q) How did you spend your summer vacation?
A) "I spent the summer taking classes and spending time with my family at home in Maryland."
Q) Now that fall practice has begun, what new skills are you working on?
A) "I'm doing a double back off of beam and a new tumbling pass on floor with a whip back to double back."
Q) What one thing about you will surprise the Tide fans during the upcoming competition year?
A) "Everyone will be surprised by our talent and confidence this year."
Q) Describe some of your team mates and how you think they will contribute to the 2000 team.
A) "Kristin Sterner will surprise the fans with her gorgeous routines and Sara Scarborough will shock everyone with her huge vaults."
Q) Who do you think will wow the fans? Who is the "sleeper" on this team?
A) "Katie Hornecker."
Q) In your opinion, what will it take for this team to win the national championship?
A) "Lots of smiles and hard work."
Q) Who are the leaders on this team?
A) "Lissy Smith."
Q) In your opinion, which apparatus will have the greatest number of Tide gymnasts competing for a spot in the line up?
A) "Bars and beam."
Q) What is your favorite aspect about college gymnastics?
A) "The girls on the team and our friendships are my favorite part. Coming into practice knowing it is the best part of my day."
Q) What is your opinion of the possibility of the SEC Championship being held at a neutral site, instead of being held on a rotational basis at each campus?
A) "I think it should be rotated because, if a team wins without the home team advantage, they truly deserve to be the winner."
Q) How is your overall health? Did you have any surgery/rehab during the off season?
A) "I'm ready to go."

A) "Believe in the magic of your dreams."
