  • Graduated from Cypress Falls High School 
  • Coached by Debbie Kaitschuck, Deana Parish and Luis Garcia at Cypress Academy, the same club that produced former Tide All-American Kim Bonaventura 
  • Four-year member of the U.S. National Team, 1993-97 
  • Alternate on the 1995 U.S. World Championship team 
  • An Elite Level gymnast, finished 12th in the all-around at the 1996 U.S. Olympic Trials 
  • Took third in the all-around at the 1996 Australian Cup in Adelaide, South Australia 
  • Competed at the 1994, 95 and 96 U.S. National championships 
  • Finished eighth in the all around at the 1996 McDonald's America Cup

    • Competed in 61 of a possible 64 events during the course of her rookie season
    • Scored 9.9 or better 29 times during the season, including four 10.0s
    • First freshman, during the 1999 season, to earn a 10.0 on Jan. 30 against Minnesota
    • Second gymnast in Tide history to earn two 10.0s in one meet, which she did against UMass on Feb. 21
  • 2000 (Sophomore):
    • Earned three first-team and one second-team All-American honors after finaling at the NCAA Championships in the all-around, vault and uneven bars
    • Finished third in the all-around at the NCAA Super 6
    • Voted SEC Gymnast of the Year
    • Named NCAA Region 4 Gymnast of the Year for the second consecutive year
    • Won the Southeastern Conference all-around, vault and uneven bars titles, becoming Alabama's first triple conference event winner since Dee Foster in 1991
    • Earned All-SEC honors for her conference championship performance
    • Ranked No. 1 nationally in the all-around for four weeks, spent the last nine weeks of the season ranked in the top-5
    • Ranked No. 1 nationally on the floor exercise for three weeks
    • Ranked as high as third in the nation on the uneven bars, never fell out of the top 10 all season
    • Scored 9.9 or better on the vault in every postseason outing of the season
    • Posted 25 scores of 9.9 or better during the season
    • Of a possible 60 events, competed in 53
    • Earned a career best 9.95 on the balance beam at UGA
    • Earned the Sington Soaring Spirit trophy as the best amateur athlete in the state of Alabama

    • Ruptured her achilles heel during practice the week before the NCAA Championships, ending her season
    • Hit 37 of the 39 routines during the season
    • Scored no lower than a 39.075 in the seven times competing as an all-arounder
    • Scored perfect 10.0 on uneven bars against Kentucky
    • Tied her career-high all-around score against Penn State, 39.750
    • Has missed only one competition in her career, this year's meet against Georgia
    • Won 14 events throughout the season and led the team 19 times
    • Ranked as high as No. 1 in the all-around, No. 3 on floor exercise, No. 6 on vault , No. 8 on uneven bars and No. 15 on balance beam
