Erin Rightley: 19 Videos

2007_04_14: NCAA Regionals:
floor: Erin Rightley: 9.850:

Very solid routine, soaring double pike to open, front through to a 1 1/2 to layout step-out looked terrific and she finished with a front-front full twist to front tuck.

2007_03_31: SEC Championships:
floor: Erin Rightley: 9.825:

Super opening double pike with great height and form.  All landings were crisp, steady.  Scoring was conservative, perhaps in anticipation of more difficult elements coming later in the Tide's line-up.

2007_03_16: Auburn:
floor: Erin Rightley: 9.850:

Terrific routine this week, opening with another soaring double pike, no steps on the landing, followed by the front through to a 1 1/2 to layout step-out; ended with a well-controlled front-front full twist to front layout.  This is the routine Erin wanted to deliver last week for Senior Night and she redeemed herself in magnificent fashion.

2007_03_09: UCLA:
floor: Erin Rightley: 9.225:

First two tumbling passes were terrific (super high double pike, fr-fr 1/1-fr layout) but she miscued on the layout step-out element because of problems with the difficult 1 1/2 twist right before this and landed on her knees as a result.  The excitement of the senior night events and switchng her second and third passes to get the higher score - perhaps both contributed to this result.  The good news is that Erin seems to be ready for the post-season on this event and will be counted on for her leadership at SECs and Regionals.

2007_03_02: LSU:
floor: Erin Rightley: 9.875:

Hit all of her passes (double pike to open, front through to a 1 1/2, front-front full twist to front layout) and her leap series (switch split full to wolf full) was executed with tighter twisting and greater amplitude this week.

2007_02_23: North Carolina:
floor: Erin Rightley: 9.825:

Great form and height once again with the opening double pike; super solid front handspring to 1 1/2 twist (Rudi) to a layout stepout; slightly popped up and forward on the landing of the front handspring-front full to front layout (third pass), but stayed well in bounds.  One leap series (wolf full second element) was a little sloppy and not executed all the way around.

2007_02_16: Arkansas:
floor: Erin Rightley: 9.850:

No problems this week with the second pass, a Rudi to layout-stepout (left out the last element a week ago at Georgia); finished with a strong front-front full-front layout.  Opening double was awesome in terms of height and landing and presentation overall was excellent.

2007_02_10: Georgia:
floor: Erin Rightley: 9.800:

Left out the full bonus in her second pass (Rudi to layout step-out, the last element).  Rest of routine was very strong, including the opening double pike (nice height and form as always), and the closing pass of a front-front full twist to front layout.

2007_02_02: Kentucky:
beam: Erin Rightley: 9.275:

A little wobble on the front aerial and she just barely missed staying on with the bhs to layout step-out flight series (second element).  Very nice switch leap-switch leap-straddle combo and the switch leap to pike jump later in this routine had wonderful amplitude and lightness of landing. Stuck the bhs to gainer full twist off the side, so despite the fall Erin showed much better compusure and recovery to maximize her scoring with the rest of the routine's elements.  This would later pay dividends for the team when Morgan came off during her flight series.

2007_01_26: Auburn:
floor: Erin Rightley: 9.850:

Hit all three tumbling passes: double pike, Rudi to layout step-out; front-front full to front tuck (timing was perfect on the third element); would likely score higher if she had laid out the final element of her third pass but considering how well she finished, we're not complaining.

2007_01_26: Auburn:
beam: Erin Rightley: 9.850:

Much more confident routine this week, slightest shoulder break on the front aerial was the only obvious deduction.  BHS to layout step-out, switch leap-switch leap to straddle; switch leap to pike jump; bhs to gainer full twist, stuck the dismount.

2007_01_19: Florida:
beam: Erin Rightley: 9.025:

Tentative going into bhs to layout step-out (fall) and leap series later; looked nervous throughout

2007_01_19: Florida:
floor: Erin Rightley: 9.850:

Hit all passes: DP, Rudi to LO-SO, Fr-Fr 1/1, Fr LO; good energy and presentation

2007_01_12: Oklahoma:
floor: Erin Rightley: 9.875:

Erin Rightley also came through with another 9.875 score, opening with a soaring double pike, followed by a Rudi to layout step-out, and ending with a strong front-front full to front layout.

2007_01_12: Oklahoma:
beam: Erin Rightley: 9.800:

Erin Rightley (9.80 for a front aerial, bhs to layout step-out, switch leap-switch leap to straddle jump, switch leap to pike jump, bhs to full twist dismount, stuck it!),

2006_03_17: Auburn:
floor: Erin Rightley: 9.800:

Erin Rightley -- This routine was just a snitch less polished than last week's 9.90 performance. Opening double pike had great height and the landing was maintained with only a slight foot shift in place. The front through to a 11/2 twist to layout step-out could use just a little more amplitude on the final element to maximize scoring. Finished well with a controlled front-front full twist to front layout. 9.800

2006_03_17: Auburn:
beam: Erin Rightley: 9.850:

Erin Rightley -- No problems this week with the front aerial and the bhs to layout step-out; switch leap to straddle-straddle combination; switch leap to pike jump; bhs to gainer full twist off the side of the beam, tiny foot shift on the landing. 9.850
