Pike Front 9.90 |

Good height and form
during flight but had to take one foot forward to check landing. |

9.825 |
Beautiful approach and
form in the air but had to take one step forward to stop her momentum on the
landing. Kristin is very powerful with this new vault. |

Stephanie Kite |
Pike ½ twist
10.00 |
9.325 |
Went down on one knee
after landing. Either she did not get enough repulsion off the table or she
twisted too late. |

Jeana Rice |
Yurchenko 1/1

A little off center and
a hop back on the landing. Beautiful form with pointed toes even! |

Missed one handstand and
took a small hop on the landing of the double tuck out of a full pirouette.
Beautiful form and height on the Gienger release. |
|
Michelle Reeser |
9.675 |
Clipped her foot on
theTkatchev release and had form problems on the dismount (tuck reverse off
the high bar). |
|
Dana Pierce |
9.825 |
Inverted giants looked
good, Tkatchev was solid as well. Opened up a little too soon on the toe-on
front tuck dismount, causing her to have to adjust her landing with a step
back on one foot. |
|
Ashley Miles |
9.900 |
Her best routine of the
young season. Reached all of her handstands and nailed the dismount of a
double front out of a half turn. Form deduction on the Shaposhnikova
release. |
|
Kristin Sterner |
9.275 |
This was a great looking
routine until the dismount (fell on her foo foo). She made both release
moves (full twisting Tkatchev and a Tkatchev) without clipping her ankles
and handstands were almost perfectly vertical. |
|
Jeana Rice |
9.900 |
Two inverts, half turn
to Tkatchev, full in dismount. Landed with slightly bent knees and had to
take a tiny hop forward on impact. |
|
Dana Filetti (E) |
No score |
Nice routine, reaching
handstands, completing three release moves but over-rotated the double front
dismount and had to touch her hands
down. to brace herself from falling further. |

Michelle Reeser |
9.850 |
She mounted with a
planche instead of the press to handstand. Pretty smooth routine, including
a flic flac, layout, Korbut flight series. Showed lots of confidence
despite being first up. |
|
Dana Pierce |
9.850 |
Switch leap to two
straddles with great amplitude. Small check on the layout (flight series of
two-footed back handspring to layout) but nailed her dismount. |
|
Mari Bayer |
9.900 |
Great extension, toe
point, unusual flex moves like the vertical leg split and a front walkover
to another split scale. Also had a very solid flight series of front aerial
to back handspring to Korbut. A little hesitancy on first element of her
three leap series. Small scoot on the pike full dismount. |
|
Shannon Hrozek |
9.825 |
Beautiful flight series
(flic flac, flic flac, layout) and the hitch kick to sheep jump combo was
solid. A little hesitancy on some of her other leaps and a check on the
landing of the gainer layout. |
|
Jeana Rice |
9.950 |
We could not identify
any deductions in this routine. |
|
Rachael Delahoussaye |
9.600 |
Super-confident flight
series (back handspring to layout) but had to check twice on the switch
leap, wolf, ¾ straddle leap series. She had some form problems with her
tuck full off the end of the beam. She will only get better. |
|
Lauren Holdefer (E) |
9.075 |
Lots of difficulty in
this routine: punch front mount, tour j'ete, punch front (fell), flic flac
to a layout, Rudi dismount (took steps back). Needs repetitions to perfect. |

Floor Exercise

Shannon Hrozek |
9.875 |
Tumbled a double pike;
front, front full, front tuck; double twist. Dance has been changed a lot
from last year's routine and her timing was off at certain spots. This
routine did not flow as well as last year's version, perhaps because it was
Shannon's first time to compete it with new dance moves. Dana will probably
continue to tweak this routine after reviewing. |
|
Michelle Reeser |
9.900 |
She did a great job of
selling this routine to the crowd by nailing all of her tumbling passes and
staying in time with the music on her final punch out. |
|
Mari Bayer |
9.875 |
Great dance, tumbling
and she never stopped smiling. |
|
Lauren Holdefer |
9.900 |
Two double backs (tuck
position) with excellent height and tight form, nice landings. Front
tumbling on the middle pass (front, front layout, front tuck). Very nice
presentation overall. |
|
Stephanie Kite |
9.800 |
She threw more
difficulty on her opening pass: a front through to a double full with a
punch front (landed one foot out of bounds to balance). Both judges scored
it a 9.90 with the automatic .10 for the out of bounds. |
|
Ashley Miles |
9.975 |
Her best routine of the
year on floor, she was seeking perfection with each tumbling pass (double
layout; front, front full, front layout; double pike) and her dance was
timed perfectly. She even smiled at the judges! |
|
Dana Filetti (E) |
No score |
Excellent dance, she
really sold this routine but encountered a little difficulty on the final
tumbling pass (front, front layout), where it looked like she slipped a bit
on the floor mat and was unable to throw the third element. Her opening
pass is a whip to a double full. This will be a great routine once the
tumbling is solidified. |
