Nice
explosion, height and distance but a step forward cost her a deduction from
the judges. |

Beautiful
approach, push off the table and form during flight. Deductions likely
occurred for a slight pike down on the descent and limited distance.

Too many
steps forward cost her vital tenths but the approach and form in the air
looked effortless. If she can land this vault with no steps, expect a 10. |

Good
explosion off the table but loose form and landing bent forward continues to
cost her vital tenths. |

Great
height, distance but a small scoot back cost her a 10. Her power is amazing

Very nice
routine, including the huge Gienger release and the double tuck dismount was
landed solidly. May have been deducted for missing a perfect handstand at
one point but score still appears to be a little low. |
|
Dana
Pierce |
9.850 |
Solid
routine, great amplitude on her Tkatchev after completing two inverts. A
little under-rotating of the toe-on front tuck dismount, causing a step on
the landing. |
|
Kristin
Sterner |
9.825 |
She
clipped her ankle on one of the release moves but this did not affect her
momentum and she missed a few handstands; step on the double front dismount. |
|
Ashley
Miles |
9.850 |
Very solid
routine, better form on the Shaposhnikova release and she reached all
handstands and landed the double front very well. |
|
Dana
Filetti |
9.775 |
Lots of
difficulty in this routine, including a booming Gienger release, toe-on
shoot to the high bar and a 1 ½ pirouette to an immediate double front
dismount. Form deductions primarily were found in the dismount (cowboyed,
step). |
|
Jeana Rice |
9.925 |
Great
routine, two inverts, half turn to immediate Tkatchev release, reached
handstand on each uprise and landed the full in beautifully. |

She never
stopped in this routine. Planche instead of the press to handstand mount;
ff, layout, Korbut flight series; switch leap to two straddle jumps; bhs to
layout was nailed. |
|
Dana
Pierce |
9.875 |
Another great routine by the freshman; flight series had great amplitude on
the first element (two-footed back handspring) and she bent at the shoulder
a bit on her third leap element (switch leap to two straddle jumps). |
|
Stephanie
Kite |
9.725 |
Front
punch mount gave her trouble (two steps to stop forward progress) and she
was a little hesitant on her flight series and a few of her leaps. Nice
Rudi dismount, small shuffle on landing. |
|
Mari Bayer |
9.900 |
Awesome
routine, she was in a zone. Front aerial-bhs-Korbut flight series; a needle
scale and another one out of a front walk-over were the highlights. She
nailed the gainer pike off the end of the beam. |
|
Shannon
Hrozek |
9.900 |
She added
a double twist this week to increase her difficulty and landed it with no
steps. Great form on the flight series (ff, layout, ff) and the hitch kick
to sheep jump combination. |
|
Kristin
Sterner |
9.875 |
A very
difficult routine: punch front mount; ff,ff, layout flight series; side
switch leap; wolf to standing back pike; two straddle jump combination; 1 ½
turn; double pike dismount (one step back). |

Jeana Rice |

She
completed her first two passes with no problems but encountered trouble on
the leap series as she was coming down from a jump (rolled her ankle).
Fortunately, she was back at full force on Monday at practice, raring to
go. That's pluck and grit! |
|
Mari Bayer |
9.850 |
The
difficult position of following a team mate who goes down with an injury,
but she handled the pressure beautifully. The second pass (front, front
full, front tuck) was a little low on the landing of the third element.
Dance and presentation were superior. |
|
Michelle
Reeser |
9.850 |
Solid
routine with a double pike to open. The crowd got into the music and
engaging dance moves, clapping warmly for her performance. |
|
Kristin
Sterner |
9.850 |
Awesome
opening and closing double pikes. A little late on the timing of her full
twisting Shushonova at the end as her music was finishing up. She seems to
be enjoying this routine more each week. |
|
Stephanie
Kite |
9.850 |
She
decided to forego the new punch front out of the front through to a double
full after Jeana's injury to ensure a good score. No major deductions. |
|
Ashley
Miles |
9.925 |
Except for
raising her hand just a tad late to the music at the end of this routine,
Ashley had a perfect performance. Her dance interpretation and the landing
of the very difficult double layout, front, front full, front layout, and
double pike were all timed beautifully. |
