We do not know the status of freshman Jac Shealy, who scored a 9.775 on the bars but appeared to have jammed her knee on the 1 1/2 twisting flyaway dismount. Hopefully she will be fine. Bama needs this routine for sure.

at 9.875. Probably the best opening meet performance on this event since 2004. They were electric tonight and you would never know that three freshmen were out there anchoring the event.

Terin is third in the all around, Brittany Koncak-Schumman in second and Kassi Price wins the all around with a 39.375.

Kaitlin White is exhibiting on floor and opens with a perfect double pike. She follows up with a front bounder to a Rudi; she finishes with a front to front full to whip 1/2. Very nice routine. Loads of confidence displayed. She receives a 9.625 because the final pass was downgraded in terms of level of difficulty. We'll review that for the post meet commentary.

Koncak-Schumman does a tuck full in to open but pops out of it a bit on the landing. Front to front full to front layout; double tuck to finish, landed low and forward but she stands it up.

and the flight series beautifully, the punch front tuck, switch leap to wolf, 3/4 quarter twisting handstand to split position; she will dismount with a 1 1/2 twist, hop forward. She receives a 9.825.

Kiara Redmond is up next and opens with a gorgeous double layout. She closes with a double tuck, slightly bent and a small step forward. Great routine overall, really sold it well.

Lebegern is up and through her flight series; nice switch leap to straddle-straddle combination; front aerial to side straddle jump; full turn; side Somi, dismounts with a double twist - perfect landing and a great recovery after a really tough uneven bars routine.

O'Neal is through her flight series and hesitates on the switch leap and then throws the two straddle jumps; punch front, double front dismount, one step forward.

Flanery gets a 9.775 on floor. Sooners are throwing double pikes. Jackson opens with a whip to back handspring to double tuck (leg separation on the salto), front through to front full to front layout; she falls forward on the last pass of a double pike (touches down twice with hands).

She is gorgeous on this event but has been rusty in the pre-season intra-squads on occasion. Flight series and front aerial look super, full turn with leg extended, leap series (little stumble on the switch leap); beautiful front tuck punch and a dismount of a round off to a 1 1/2 twist, one step forward. Way to lead Britt!

The Tide will have to hit every routine on the balance beam and floor exercise to pull this one out.

The Tide has done a great job with the first rotation and needs to hit at least five of six uneven bars routines to put the pressure on the Sooners.
