Second pass of a difficult tuck full in this week - awesome! She will close with a tuck through to a round off to double tuck, perfect landing and ending with the music this week. What a routine. She receives a 9.95. Sorry, that routine was absolute perfection.

beautiful, sky high double pike, front-front full twist to front layout for her second pass this week; will finish with a front to 1 1/2 to layout step-out but misses the final pass and does not push through the front strong enough to complete the twist before the layout step-out; perhaps the excitement of senior night got to her a bit in the end and she put a little too much pressure on herself. 9.225 is the final score.

leap series, a few tiny bobbles here and there as well; loose legs on the double twist, close to the beam too.

front-front full twist to front pike; nails the double pike to finish, no steps and ends the dance moves right on time with the music this week.

Jordan Schwikert opens with a bhs to bhs to layout step-out, has a few balance checks and dismounts with a gainer full twist off the side.

Kassi Price opens with a beautiful triple twist, nails it! Second pass of a tuck through to a round off bhs to double pike, one step forward to check the landing (slight leg split too); nice dance with a cat leap double to cat leap full; nails the double pike to close! Awesome.

Switch leap to straddle jump, back tuck to another back tuck; side Somi; running 1 1/2, sticks the landing.

Follows with a whip 1/2 to full twist (front), nice; closes with a front punch layout to a Rudi (1 1/2) - stands it up and salutes the crowd just on time with her music.

Bruins, mounts with a punch front, leaps are not well-connected at two points so she will be deducted a bit; standing back tucks were another highlight.

now up and through her wolf front aerial to scissor leap, switch leap to side straddle jump, flight series is right on (bhs to layout stepout), side Somi looks great, she dismounts with a super double pike, one small step on the landing.

Peckett is now up and opens with a whip-whip to bhs to double pike, legs split and landed bent forward at the waist. Whip 1/2 to front layout; finishes with a double tuck, slight jam but she stands it up.

Morgan Dennis is now up and through her front aerial, bhs to layout step-out - beautiful! Switch leap to tuck full to scissor jump; needs a little more connection there; full turn; switch leap to scissor jump, very nice; round off to double tuck dismount - she nails it!

Jenkins is now up for the Bruins and opens with a whip to bhs to double pike, one step forward on the landing. Second pass of a round off to whip 1/2 to front pike, large step forward to balance the landing, ends with a double tuck, nice landing.

series and the leap series (switch leap to straddle-straddle); side straddle leap, nice control on that landing; side Somi, terrific; she dismounts with a round off to a double twist, slight lift of a toe only. Crowd erupts in applause!

Seleskey is next on floor and opens with a super double pike, followed by a front-front full twist to front layout; she closes with a round off to a whip 1/2 to full twist, lunge step forward but she stays in bounds.

series, the leap series, the switch side straddle leap and nails the dismount this week! Yes!

with a front to front full twist to front layout, follows with a round off to what looks like a 1 1/2, stepped out of the landing and was off center as well. She finishes with a round off to another 1 1/2? Almost stepped out of bounds as well, again off center.

very nice punch front, and she dismounts with the most difficult element, a running double front, one step back on the landing. Super!

She receives a 9.875 and the crowd for the third week is booing profusely. Judges one week take off 1 to 2 tenths for not getting perfect handstands or taking a small check on a dismount. Then the next week give high scores for loose form and leg separation. Wacky wacky world of gymnastics.

Price comes right behind her and hits all her major moves, including the Hindorff for a 9.85.

She gets a 9.875.

Morgan Dennis hits her routine but takes tiny step on the dismount of the double front.

pak Salto and takes just a small step in place on the landing of the double tuck. She receives a 9.825.

Ricki Lebegern hits her handstands (except one near the end), nice straddle Jaeger, one step on the tuck full in dismount, chest down a bit too. She gets hit hard for a 9.725.

a full turn, chest high! She receives a 9.775. We told you the judges are tight tonight on the bars.

She throws a Y 1/1 and misses the push off the table and hits the mat as she completes the twist. She receives a 9.100.

their handstands but stick the dismounts. The Tide has several routines with harder combinations and release moves on bars, so if the gymnasts with these moves can stick their elements, they can put the pressure on the Bruins even more. But they must stick the dismounts.

Needed a little more amplitude to get the maximum score but the judges liked her form in the air and the controlled landing, giving her a 9.875.

Berlin hits a pike Jaeger but has a little trouble on her handstands but sticks the full in dismount. She receives a 9.725. Very tight judging tonight on the uneven bars.

Peckett is up on bars for UCLA; 1 1/2 turn on the bar, nice double layout to finish, slight step but great distance.

No movement, no steps! She receives a 9.85.

Padilla is up first for the Bruins on bars. Throws a few healy twists and takes a hop on the landing of her dismount. Form could be better. She receives a 9.700.

Bama will start off the vault with sophomore Brittany Magee and freshman Morgan Dennis will anchor the event.

UCLA will start off on bars with junior Natalie Padilla and anchor with freshman Anna Li.

UCLA is wearing a marine blue and white leo with silver sequins along the middle neckline.

Alabama is wearing the silver sequin wave leo contrasted by cranberry velveteen at the torso and bodice areas. Sleeves are in a darker cranberry netting and the silver wave undulates down the left arm towards the wrist for a nice contrast.

Holt High Jr. ROTC is presenting the flag and colors as the local chamber choir sings the anthem.

as highlights of her career are being replayed on the Jumbotron. Crowd is standing to give her an ovation that is well-deserved. Scholastic All America, Academic All SEC and a scholarship athlete this year for the Tide.

We have a good crowd in the Ten Troupe section despite Spring Break having started on campus.

Kristina Comforte and Brittani McCullough are here with the team but will not compete tonight due to season-ending injuries. Coach Patterson gave flowers to seniors Peckett and Seleskey in honor of their final year with the Bruins.

UCLA has depth problems this year but you wouldn't know it from the gymnasts they have competing on each event. When they hit like they did last week at home against Georgia, the Bruins are more than capable of contending for conference and national championships, even in a year where they have experienced season-ending injuries to two of their best gymnasts, sophomore Kristina Comforte and freshman Brittani McCullough. If the Bruins score big on their best event, the uneven bars, look for them to push through with a strong vault and floor effort and coast to a strong finish on balance beam. Now, the pressure is truly on Alabama tonight but if they compete with the same aggressive confidence on the first three events like they did last week against LSU, the meet should be theirs going into the final rotation, which is THEIR best event. But if the Tide slips up and has to count a fall, the Bruins are more than capable of pulling off the upset in decisive fashion.
