The team was thrilled for Morgan and Terin and were hugging each other and the gals when the final score went up verifying that Morgan's 9.965 would hold as the top one. Roll Tide! See you next year Tide fans! [ top... ] Winners on the four events: [ 10:56 PM, 04/28/07 ] Vault: Courtney Kupets of UGA [ top... ] Congratulations to Morgan Dennis, the 2007 floor exercise winner! [ 10:47 PM, 04/28/07 ] Terin wins the bars and Morgan brings home the floor title. This is Dana Dobransky Duckworth's third choreographed routine to win at NCAAs (Courtney Bumpers, Ashley Miles and now Morgan Dennis). This really pumped up the Bama team, which was seated right down in front of the floor and the girls were crying and hugging each other in victory. A great positive finish to what was a team disappointment on Thursday. And good momentum for the Tide going into the off-season, something to start working from towards next year. [ top... ] Terin goes up next on the balance beam and Morgan Dennis will be in the [ 9:27 PM, 04/28/07 ] second flight on the floor exercise. Back after this rotation with the results. [ top... ] Alabama's Terin Humphrey claims her second uneven bars title!!! [ 9:25 PM, 04/28/07 ] Terin scored a 9.950 for a terrific routine, which included pinpoint handstands, beautiful pirouetting, front giant to Khorkina release, a hop full near the end on top of the bar and a stuck double layout dismount. [ top... ] Touch warm-ups have begun on the vault and uneven bars, the first two [ 8:16 PM, 04/28/07 ] events that will be completed tonight for event finals. There will be six judges on each event so the scores will be to the third and fourth decimals. All contenders on the vault get three touches before the competition begins.
