She got the rest of the "E" gals going, who paced her with 9.925s of their own (Ricki Lebegern - triple twist to open) and Kassi Price (triple on her second pass), with Morgan icing the cake with two E passes (double layout, tuck full in, finishing with a tuck through to double tuck, nailed the landing).

Bama struggled a bit on beam with balance checks and a stupid mat slipping under Morgan, who was gunning for a 9.90 plus (finished with a 9.725) but there were no falls or serious checks AND Kayla Hoffman and Amanda Montgomery exhibited their respective routines with nice renewed confidence. Still areas for improvement - gotta be ready next week for the big show - SECs - see you then Tide fans!

Form is a little loose throughout this routine but she has nice presentation. And now the seniors are being presented by their parents - Terin is crying as Coach Sarah Patterson gives her a long hug - mom is also crying with dad next to her - crowd is on their feet with a long cheer and extended applause. What a warrior! We are blessed to have had such a talented, wonderful gymnast on our team. We love you Terin!

The Auburn Tigers hope to use this final regular season meet as a preparation for the SECs and Regionals. They are hoping to put pressure on Alabama if they can avoid having to count a fall or low score on the bars and by nailing their vaults and avoiding any major mistakes on floor, Auburn expects to finish strongly on their best event, the balance beam. Realistically, the Tigers can relax and perform without any pressure in hopes that Alabama will get lax like they did two weeks ago on the West Coast. This is the most dangerous kind of team - one that can match up well with the Tide on two of four events and if Bama opens a door on the other two events, you can bet Aubie will take every advantage offered to pull off the upset.

Alabama on the other hand will have to muster their own energy and intensity for this meet since the crowd is about half of what they normally look forward to. And we know this team performs best with a loud crowd of 15,000 plus behind them. So the utmost concentration and focus will be needed by all of the GymTide tonight to bring home not only victory #94 but hopefully a high score that will help push them up further in the rankings. It's time to show the coaches and fans that they can take care of business on the competition floor when it really counts. Let's go Bama! It's time to sweep the Tigers for the 30th straight year!

Tonight we will pay tribute to seniors Kaitlin White (Dallas, Texas) and Terin Humphrey (Union, Missouri) but unfortunately we will only see Kaitlin perform on three events - while Terin will say an emotional goodbye to the crowd of fans present after formally retiring earlier this week.
