The Crimson Tide pretty much has sixth place sewn up because they are so far the only team that has had to count a fall on an event. The remaining teams in this rotation would have to count TWO falls in order for the Tide to finish higher. But the main goal was to get to the Super Six again and when you do you have to throw your best, including the risky difficulty. That's what the Tide has done tonight and the chips have to fall where they will. But the Tide has a chance to finish strong on the floor exercise for Tide Pride - and it starts with Ashley O'Neal

Ashley O'Neal - opens with a double tuck - solid landing - great front-front full twist to front layout - finishes with a double pike - nails the landing without a step back to control. Way to go O! Score: 9.825

Kaitlin White's last routine for the Tide - nails the front double full beautifully - follows right behind with a super double pike landed chest high as well - finishes with a Rudi out of a punch front layout - terrific landing again and a fantastic final routine for the Tide from our Texas senior. She receives a long hug from Bryan Raschilla and Coach Patterson. Score: 9.850

Ricki Lebegern - nice opening triple - comes back with a front-front full twist to front layout - ends with a perfect double pike. Score: 9.900

Morgan Dennis - our star and defending floor national champion will close out on the final event for the Tide - opens with a double layout - gorgeous! Second pass of the tuck full in looks great - finishes with a tuck through to a double tuck - great finish! Score: 9.950

Ashley O'Neal - starts with a bhs to layout stepout - right on! switch leap to straddle - punch front tuck - perfect - running double front dismount - unfortunately, she sits it down again. So difficult but so risky. Would not have minded seeing the coaches put in the running front full twist since she struggled with this dismount yesterday in preliminaries. Score: 9.225

Ricki Lebegern - in the line of fire - second day in a row - bhs to layout step-out - perfect - switch leap to straddle jump - switch side leap - full turn - side Somi - great! Dismounts with a round off to double twist - slight foot shuffle on the landing but great composure throughout this routine. Score: 9.775 - a little conservative considering her composure and the flow of this routine.

Brittany Magee - bends at the waist on her bhs to layout step-out but stays on - front aerial - switch leap to pike jump to tuck full jump combination - solid! Gainer bhs to layout step-out - full turn with leg horizontal - dismounts with a 1 1/2, small step forward. Score: 9.725

Kassi Price on the beam for the Tide - falls on the front aerial - bhs to layout stepout looks solid - switch leap to wolf jump - full turn - wolf front aerial - to beat jump looks solid - round to double tuck dismount - one step back. Score: 9.250

Morgan Dennis will finish up for the Tide on beam - front aerial to beat jump - bhs to layout stepout - beautiful - switch leap to straddle jump - nice - full turn - switch side leap looks terrific - dismounts with a round off to double tuck - shuffle scoot back. 9.850

Ricki Lebegern - front giant to straddle Jaeger looks solid - nice handstands and she sticks the full in dismount. Score: 9.800

Casey Overton - hits her routine tonight like a champion! Full turn to Tkatchev to pak Salto and she sticks the double tuck out of a full turn chest high. Score: 9.800

Morgan Dennis is next - great routine going until the end - steps forward on the double front - that gives the judges room to deduct easily. Score: 9.775

Kayla Hoffman almost encounters trouble on her bars routine but counters in time with another half turn giant and finishes with a stuck double layout. Score: 9.800

Kassi Price finishes the rotation for the Tide with a beautiful Hindorff to free hip giant back to handstand and sticks the double layout chest high with a huge smile on her face as she salutes the judges. Score: 9.900

Georgia hit a 49.225 on vault, Stanford matched that score on the uneven bars, Florida has a 48.850 on the balance beam in rotation two and LSU finished on floor with a 49.125.

In rotation three, Utah will be on floor, LSU on vault, Alabama on bars and Stanford on the balance beam.

Brittany Magee - Yurchenko 1/1 - nice in the air, shuffle step back and a quick salute to the judges. Score: 9.725

Kayla Hoffman - Yurchenko 1/1 - stuck but bent at the waist. Not sure why the coaches put the Tide's best vaulter up in third position. Score: 9.750

Ricki Lebegern - Yurchenko 1.5 - stuck but soft knees from our angle in flight. Score: 9.825

Kassi Price - Yurchenko Arabian - 9.775 despite sticking the vault - body rubber-banded during flight.

Georgia is rocking the floor exercise to the delight of their fans here tonight. Lowest score so far is a 9.85 with several 9.90s and a 9.95 from Heenan. McCool scores a 9.775 after stepping out on her final pass. So Georgia sets the bar high immediately at a 49.475 on floor. Alabama is at 49.100 on vault and Utah is at 49.100 on balance beam, Florida has a 49.050 on bars to start. Bama goes out on a bye in rotation two, LSU comes in on floor, Georgia is on vault, Stanford is on bars and Florida is on beam.

Alabama is wearing another new leo, one of the best we've seen in a long time. Wine colored with cresting white waves all over the body, front and back, shiny metallic material with sequins outlining the waves. Looks great on all the gals.

Georgia is in predominately red metallic with white and black criss-crossing stripes on the right front bodice and back.

Florida is wearing marine metallic blue with white contrast in a vee pattern on the front chest and back.

Utah is in black and white, similar to their leo from last night.

LSU, Stanford and then Utah. Crowd is on their collective feet with the glittering strobe hand items going in a variety of colors. Fireworks go off at the end of the introductions. Judges are being introduced.

Just one key to victory for the Crimson Tide tonight - make the most of the opportunity you've been given. Starting and finishing on their two best events (vault and floor) gives the Tide the chance to stake their claim to the 2008 national title but they must claim it from the beginning and secure it at the end, from the opening vault by Casey Overton to the final floor routine by national champion Morgan Dennis. If Alabama can go 24 for 24 routines, we like their chances. Make it happen Bama!

Nice triple from Ricki and a tuck full in from Morgan just then on floor. Bama is now dancing in the middle of the floor as the final music selections spin - Dana Dobransky is pulling them together for some light new dance moves and Jac Shealy is helping lead the way to the delight of the Bama fans. We are watching long warm-ups for the Super Six finals here live. Alabama has just completed their first long warm-up on the vault, where they will start the meet tonight in rotation one, having obtained the coveted Olympic Rotation in the drawing last night after the conclusion of Session Two. Alabama will go out on a bye in rotation two, return in rotation three and four on the bars and beam, go out on one more bye in rotation five and return in rotation six on the floor to close out. So Bama has a great opportunity to make some magic here tonight but they will have to go 24 for 24 to keep the momentum going and the energy positive.

Bama is now on the uneven bars for rotation three long warm-up. Strong efforts so far. Handstands look good, Kayla Hoffman is working to reach each one perfectly with her flawless toe point. Cassie Martin is looking strong with her routine as well, having replaced the toe-off half with her original double tuck. Nice dismount from Casey Overton as well - she had the unfortunate fly under the low bar yesterday afternoon on her pak Salto - Bama was able to throw that score out by hitting all the other five routines.

The Tide now moves to the balance beam in rotation four long warm-up, with Florida on floor, Georgia on bars and Utah on the vault.

On the balance beam long warm-up - Casey, Ricki, Brittany, Kassi, Ashley, Kayla, Morgan are warming up. Team is having fun, with extra encouragement from the coaches.
