Welcome to my weekly "CHALK TALK" where you will receive weekly updates on your Crimson Tide gymnasts, important events, and "inside information" on Bama Gymnastics.

Our 2003 team has been in official practice for a little over three weeks and the foundation for the upcoming season is being built one brick at a time! This year's team promises to be exciting, but "oh so very young!" With the addition of five signees and several other potential walk-ons there is plenty of work to be done...and a great deal of it will be directed at adjusting to college gymnastics, campus life, and developing a sense of team chemistry.

One area we are spending a great emphasis on is time management because this is ultimately what will help our student-athletes be successful in the classroom as well as the gym. We have always prided ourselves in having the most "balanced" program in the Nation. Our ladies excel in the classroom, give of themselves to the betterment of our community, and compete for championships. That is what Alabama Gymnastics is all about!
