Our annual "Ghosts and Goblins" intra-squad was just what our youthful team needed to get the competitive fires going. It allowed the coaching staff to make decisions as far as routine content, changes needed, and also identified those who might need more repetition in a pressure setting.

The Ghosts won the event largely due to their impressive performance on vault. We have the potential to do well on this event; we just have several steps to take in order to be competition ready. The Goblins will treat the Ghosts to a "home-cooked" meal, something the entire team is looking forward to. Congratulations to Ashley Miles, our top point honoree on the Ghost team, and Kristin Sterner who led the way for the Goblins.

Many thanks to the fans that attended...I have heard several comments from our freshmen that they were nervous just having people in the gym! Can you imagine what butterflies they will have when 10,000 people come to cheer them on January 31st as we take on the Michigan Wolverines?

The upcoming week brings our annual bake sale on the quad for Project Angel Tree. Proceeds for the event are used to help buy Christmas gifts for those less fortunate. The sale will be held Wednesday, November 6th on the quad near Reese Phifer Hall. I hope you will stop by and purchase some treats as our ladies continue to give back to our community.
