It is hard to believe today is the start of the 2005-06 school year and another amazing group of freshmen are here learning their way around campus on the first day of class. This is a most enthusiastic and personable group of ladies who are as diverse in their own unique way as they can possibly be. They had a great "freshman orientation" with the coaching staff and we feel confident that with our support and the guidance of our upperclassmen that they will soon be an integral part of the Alabama Gymnastics Program.

    The freshmen enjoyed a great cookout with the coaching staff at our home Monday night.....it was obvious they are as committed to their academic success as they are their competitive gymnastics career. We will be dependent on them to help position our team for another opportunity to compete for a National Championship. Each year the challenges are different and our plan for success resembles that of a large jigsaw puzzle.
