The Holidays are almost here and our Bama Gymnasts are finishing their semester final exams. Soon our ladies will begin to head home for some special time with their families and loved ones. While our team will have an extended period of time away from campus, we are dependent upon them to continue their training in their respective home gyms if we are to be successful in our season opener at the 2006 Super Six Challenge. There is a fine line and delicate balance of prioritizing time with family and continued training for a Championship Season. Their individual motivation over the holidays will definitely have a collective effect on how we open our season. So.......as coaches we try to balance our own relaxation and concern over the things that are somewhat out of our control! I do know that we have the potential to be an outstanding team, and I am very much looking forward to the excitement of the competitive season.
