The past two weeks have been wonderful and our ladies certainly have enjoyed competing in the comforts of Coleman Coliseum in front of our wonderful fans..........this week our team must learn how to make adjustments and handle the pressure of having to win the meet on the balance beam, last event for our ladies as we face the University of Florida in Gainesville , Fl. The Gators have been on the road the first two meets of the season and are certainly excited to be opening their "Home " schedule with the Crimson Tide. Our ladies will have to improve our performance on the balance beam and I fully expect this meet to come down to the last event and the last few competitors for a victory. For those of you who can't join us I do hope you will "tune in" to the website to watch the meet and commentary on-line!

Jeana Rice will be joined by her family and friends from ACE gymnastics where her mother and step father are owners and coaches. Look for a huge group of future gymnasts to cheer her on. Jeana has done exceptionally well in our first two events and we know she is excited to be returning home for this exciting competition!

As for new things to look for.........We have made several changes in our balance beam routines to help us gain confidence......look for Raegan Tomesek in the all-around as well as the return of Kristin Sterner to floor exercise. Andree will not compete on floor exercise this meet as we continue to build our depth and pay careful attention to keeping Andree fresh and healthy. Lauren Holdefer continues to regain her strength and should be available for floor exercise at UCLA in some capacity. Look for Robin Hawkins to possibly perform at the LSU meet on uneven bars and Floor Exercise.

I hope you are making your plans to join us for the Auburn meet in B'ham at the civic center, we hope you will bring a few new fans to the meet and help us "turn them on to Bama Gymnastics". Looking forward to the weekend!
