Our ladies have just finished their final practice prior to the Thanksgiving Holiday. Our ladies will leave for home on Wednesday to spend the holiday with family and friends. Most of them have not been home since the middle of August so this break comes at an especially good time! I have always felt this five day break from training was physically and mentally good for the entire team and coaching staff. While some schools elect to continue training throughout the Thanksgiving Holiday, our staff has always believed this break in training has little affect on the outcome of our season in April! It allows everyone, athletes and coaches alike, to take time to enjoy their families and spend time with loved ones. Our team shared a special "Thanksgiving dinner" together on Friday, and as we depart for destinations all over the country, we pray for everyone's safe travel and return.
