Q: The vault you are currently performing for competition has a 9.9 start value. What is the likelihood that we will see you perform a vault with a 10.0 start value this season?
A: "I have been training a 10.0 vault which I will hopefully be ready to compete sometime this season. It is a hand spring front pike with a half out."
Q: What were some things that made you choose Alabama over other schools?
A: "It was close to home and it has always been a dream of mine to be an Alabama gymnast. Plus I really like the family atmosphere of the team."
Q: What is it like to have your twin sister on the team as well? Has it created any confusion?
A: "Probably the only people is has created confusion for are those outside the team. Everyone on the team has been really great about it and they realize that we're two different people. As for the two of us, it's more like we're best friends than sisters. I do find it more nerve wracking watching Lauren compete. I'll close my eyes and get someone to give me a play-by-play."
Q: What is your favorite sport (besides gymnastics)?
A: "Baseball. I plan on watching Alabama this season."
Q: So far you've competed in the vault at each meet for Alabama, what event do you think we are likely to see you in next?
A: "Right now I am training a beam and a floor routine so it will be one of those two."
Q: What are some classes you're taking right now?
A: "I am just taking some of the basic stuff right now, but I have changed my major from Marketing to Public Relations. I'll probably minor in Marketing.'
Q: How do you feel about traveling to California to face the #1 ranked team in the nation UCLA?
A: "I think this is a challenge for us to do the best we can and I think it will help us see how much depth we have as a team."
