I am very impressed with the work of this year's Medalist Club Board of Directors. This group is dedicated, hard-working, and very enthusiastic about Alabama gymnastics. From raising money, to planning events for the year, to designing brochures and t-shirts, these folks are really putting in a lot of time and effort.

Just a few short years ago the popular notion was that folks on the Board "were just hooked into the loop and a group of privileged few." Well, I can tell you this, if they are privileged, then I don't want any of it. These folks have really transformed the job description to the point that it requires time, effort, and their own money to support the cause.

I know that many people don't really understand all the hard work that goes on behind the scenes by the Medalist Club Board, but they do and their effort is appreciated.
