Alabama junior Ashley Miles hit a 10.0 on the vault while freshman Terin Humphrey chipped in a 9.95 on the balance beam to keep the Tide neck and neck with the LSU.

But the Tigers wouldn't go away, down to the their last competitor, junior April Burkholder, who scored a meet best 9.975 on the balance beam, to keep the pressure on Miles, who scored a 9.925 on the floor exercise to clinch the meet.
