The Medalist Club is looking forward to the 2007-2008 gymnastics season, and we hope you're planning on joining us as Coaches Patterson celebrate 30 years of leading the Crimson Tide forward.

We've reviewed our (Medalist Club) program from the last several years, and we've realized we weren't keeping up with the times, so we've made some changes in our Membership Level that will allow us to keep our support of our Gymtide at the highest possible level. Last year our expenses nearly outpaced our income, a situation we can't live with. S-o-o-o, after much discussion, head-scratching, and planning, we've revamped our program in a way which should let the Medalist Club support our team, and our members, in the way we should.

We've added a couple of new membership classes and re-worked all the levels, hopefully so that everyone can find a level where they're comfortable, and that they will join and encourage their friends to join, too. We've carefully looked at the perks we're offering at each level, and we hope that you agree - there is something there for you! Carefully look them over, and then join at the level that's right for you and your family!

There are a couple of major changes we're making, too. Members joining at the Red/White level or higher will be allowed to purchase 1 parking pass with their membership. Reserved parking is more limited at Coleman Coliseum with the beginning of the new UA parking system, and we want our members to be able to park as close to the Coliseum as possible. We've included a parking pass as part of the basic membership package for everyone joining at the Silver level or higher. Yes, Silver (and higher) memberships can also buy an additional parking pass if they so choose. (Parking passes are still $25, and are available only to Medalist Club members),

We'll be issuing admission tickets to all our members for admittance into our three post meet receptions. Now, rather than fumble with your membership card, you'll only need to have your tickets ready to drop in the box as you enter the reception area in the Mezzanine Level of Coleman. With four entrances into the Mezzanine, there should be no lines formed, and you'll quickly be admitted to the reception. Tickets will be distributed with your membership materials and t-shirts in early December. You'll have them in plenty of time before our first reception. Tickets will be required to enter the reception area, so don't lose (or forget too bring) them!

And finally, since this year we'll be honoring the Patterson's 30th year at the helm of our Gymtide, every level of membership will receive a Medalist Club T-shirt, in an appropriate number for the level you've joined. Need more T-shirts? Let us know. You can order as many additional T-shirts as you'd like when you join the Medalist Club.
