The benefits of academic success at Alabama are apparent throughout the Tide's all-time roster, which is rampant with postgraduate triumph.

Former Tide All-American Barbara Mack Harding made good use of her NCAA postgraduate scholarship. She attended Georgetown University law school in 1985. After a stint as a prosecutor for the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C., Harding is currently in private practice, a partner in her firm.

SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 1987, Julie Estin is now Dr. Julie Vaughn. The recipient of both an SEC and an NCAA postgraduate scholarship, Vaughn graduated from UAB medical school in 1992. Dr. Vaughn is part of a Tuscaloosa pediatrics practice.

Patti Rice, now Patti Eggers, completed her master's in business administration at Harvard. After enjoying a successful career in corporate America, she returned to the Capstone and served Associate Director of Alabama's MBA program. She currently resides in Birmingham, serving as Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning for Luckie & Company a marketing communications and advertising agency.

Kathy Bilodeau, now Kathy Varney, is in charge of Talbots' catalog production and in-store promotional inserts.

Tina Rinker recently completed her doctorate in chemical engineering at North Carolina State and is a professor at Colorado State.

Merritt Booth was part of NCAA and SEC Championship squads. She earned six All-American honors, three each first and second team. A finalist for the NCAA Woman of the Year award and a four-year Scholastic All-American, she earned an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship. She is currently in graduate school at South Alabama pursuing a physician's assistant degree.

Meredith Willard, now Meredith Luber, graduated with a pair of championship rings, one each SEC and NCAA and the 1996 NCAA All-Around title. She also took home an NCAA and SEC scholarship. She was an 11-time first team All-American during her tenure and an NCAA Top-8 award winner. An NCAA Woman of the Year finalist, she is currently getting her Master's of Business Administration from UNC-Charlotte. She is also production manager for the Case Research Journal.

Dana Dobransky, now Dana Duckworth, earned both SEC and NCAA Postgraduate Scholarships to go with an SEC Championship ring, an NCAA Championship ring and a pair of individual NCAA Balance Beam titles. In the fall of 1996, she returned to Alabama to obtain a Masters of Business Administration. She now works for Pfizer Pharmaceutical and is a volunteer assistant coach with the Tide.

Katherine Kelleher, now Katherine Laubenthal, graduated with an NCAA and SEC championship ring to keep her NCAA and SEC Postgraduate scholarships company. A three-time All-American, SEC Champion and two-time Regional Champion, she graduated with a degree in corporate finance and investment management. She is a Systems Consultant for Blue Cross Blue Shield

Marie Robbins graduated with one NCAA and two SEC Championship rings as well as an SEC Postgraduate scholarship. The four-time All-American and two-time SEC and Regional Champion graduated from Alabama Law School. She then went to work for the Southeastern Conference. After a two-year stint with the league office, she returned to Alabama to become the Associate Athletics Director for Compliance. This fall she added interim Senior Women's Administrator duties to her resume, a job formerly held by her old coach Sarah Patterson.

Kelly Good graduated with an SEC and NCAA Championship ring and a matching pair of scholarships to go with them. The All-American attended Alabama-Birmingham. Good, now Kelly Baham, received a Master's of Science in physical therapy. She works for Healthsouth in Richmond, Va.
